I used to idolize Earl Scruggs until I was at an Earl Scruggs Review concert one night, and when the concert was over I walked up to Earl and asked him for his autograph. He just walked away like I wasn't even there. Guess he was having a real bad night.

Started out early around 12 years old playing guitar then moved on to other instruments. Later joined a Bluegrass band called Flint hill playing banjo, then joined Bays Mountain Grass. Later I started writing songs and got a publishing deal in Nashville. Formed a country band called Point West where I played electric lead guitar that lasted for around 10 years, (we haven't broken up officially but you might say we are just doing our own things right now. Now I'm concentrating on Banjo again. Because I love it more than any instrument that I play.
