I added some photos of my instruments. There's only one banjo, because I just started that a few months ago. But she is a real beauty.

I was born in Virginia and grew up in Kentucky. The first music I was exposed to was church music. My mom plays piano and organ and she has lots of old hymnals from the the Campmeeting era and Holiness churches. I've always loved to sing, but I was never really interested in piano; things with strings always got my attention. When I was 11 my brother got a guitar for his birthday so I decided I would play it too. I had already been singing in the choir and doing specials so I soon started accompaning my singing with guitar. I was self taught until college where I earned a BA in Music Performance with Classical guitar as my principal instrument and voice and mandolin as secondaries. A few years ago I started playing bass and about one year ago bought a banjo. Although I like Progressive Rock, Classical guitar, folk and bluegrass I still love hymns the most. I have recorded one album of hymns and have a second one almost done. These are Progressive Rock arrangements of hymns where I play guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo and of course sing.
