Been in and out of Punk bands since 1998. In 2003 I found both European Melodic Death Metal and Progressive Bluegrass. Both of these genres had something I liked very much. They are fast paced and melodic. As time went on I really found my musical tastes conflicting with bands. Either I was to punk, to metal, or to bluegrass for some bands. No one of these genres fit me perfectly and I knew then I needed to do something different. Mix them all and see what happens. I've tried getting together with banjo players and none of them worked out. Seems that many banjo players are pretty chill and aren't dedicated enough. Also many banjo players seem to just want to play straight up bluegrass. The ones that want to experiment play clawhammer style which isn't what I'm looking for. So I decided to pick it up myself. Though I am a beginner at the banjo, I do feel more comfortable with the banjo than the guitar. So here I am trying to learn somethings.
