This is simply a thank you to Banjo Hangout and its members. I've been playing banjo for just under 2 yrs. I haven't had any formal lessons but I have learnt quite a bit from this site and playing in jams. I try to practice every day but manage about 5 times a week. I have been to this site a number of times over the past year or so and I love to listen to the songs played by your members. Hearing the songs is of great assistance to players outside the US as most of the tunes you have are new to my ears. I have grown to love many bluegrass songs - current fav is "Bury Me Beneath the Willows". My current goal is to play FMB accurately and at a speed that would impress my family and friends (not easily impressed!).
