Practice has gone well this week ahead of tonight's lesson. the little exercise piece i've been given sounds quite good sped up a little and I've been playing about with the rhythm to try and change the feel of it.
I've been practising all week alternating between using picks and not using picks. (During lessons we play without) and ive noticed a difference in the sound and feel of what I play. Picks are definitly better for playing loud and everything seems to 'flow' a bit better whereas without, the sound and feel of the music seems a lot more er, 'rustic' shall we say? :D but no bad thing by any means.
not sure which I prefere at the moment - does anyone else do this?
should add that it's the 3 finger style i'm learning.
peace out brothers & sisters!
