Had an old English banjo for 30 years but never really got going except for a few folksy three chord songs, and a odd excursion into banjo ukes. Only played guitar for years. Since packing up work have managed to master a few scruggs-style rolls and bought the Deering a couple of years ago to concentrate on bluegrass. Now looking to progress further with much more order and calm after a rather frantic start. Currently trying to play a bit of clawhammer.....but more difficult than it looks.
