Picked up a banjo in the early seventies, hung it on a wall for two years, finally taught myself clawhammer out of the old John Burke book, every evening sitting on the dock of a little lake in WI, so slow it sounded like japanese kabuki music.....banjo has been back on the wall most of the years raising my kids, I could play about 5 tunes well on demand....have just recently gotten back into it, consider myself a renewed newbie, also have started flat picking mandolin and guitar, having a GREAT TIME!!!
