Born and raised in the Southern Blue Ridge mountains. Loved Old Time Country and Bluegrass from childhood. Many friends from elementary school are very fine singers and pickers. Married to wife, Shirley for 58 years in early 2013. Two children, one daughter and one son. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Retired after 32 years with a major national corporation, and 2 years with a second major national corporation. Seriously pursuing improved Banjo music daily for the past three years. Banjo Hangout has been a tremendous resource for my. I appreciate all of you and enjoy reading your comments. It has been so helpful to me.
