I play clawhammer banjo. When I do concerts the sets are mostly songs, not necessarily southern or old-time. After years of doing only traditional music I'm now adding more contemporary material. I'm enjoying doing music totally outside of the old time arena, and some tunes and songs that aren't even folk. until y move to North Carolina I played in a contradance band called Dance All Night, and also the Long Island Bluegrass Quartet.
