I was born and raised in piedmont N.C. but have lived in southeast Alaska since 1993. I have played folk and traditional music for many years. I play guitar, standup bass and took up OT banjo in 2004. I play with a couple groups here in Alaska and do some amateur recording. I go back to the mountains of N.C. for festivals at least once a year and miss the music terribly. But, Alaska ain't bad either.
