Dean Barber and i fingured out what was wrong with Sarahbelle (my tackhead minstrel banjo) ... after reworking the fretboard to get the bow out of it, I lowered the nut. Dean was playing around with her but she still was full of buzz. We put a taller bridge of his on her and she wassuddenly there!
I made a new bridge, increasing its original height by 1/4" ... what beautiful music! Now if i can just get to a point where i am worth of it! :)
Thanks for your help Dean!

I recently turned 41, my darling wife Sarah and will have been married 3 years this coming November. i work as a Biomedical Engineering Technician, which means i repair medical equipment. Civil War Re-enacting has been a hobby of mine for the last 15+ years. i am currently learning to play the electric bass guitar, but Dean tell sme if I get a banjohe will teach me to play .. so i am VERY excitred about that. My hope is to MAKE a fretless minstrel banjo.
