I raced canoes for the Outward Bound Canoe shop in Hattiesburg, MS when I was 14 years old. I went to a canoe race race that was being held at the Atwood Bluegrass PArk in Montocello, MS and fell in love with the banjer. Went back home and saved $120.00 and bought an Eagle 5 strring. No one in Soso, MS could play the banjer so I got a book and taught myself. Been picken ever since.
