I started playing banjo as a freshman in college. I would jam a little but was uncomfortable. I went on as a closet picker for almost 30 yrs. 3 yrs ago I attended Peter Wernick's jam camp and that changed my life. Now that I'm comfortable in a jam situation I spend a lot more time playing and practicing. I just started trying clawhammer in 2008 and take lessons from banjofrailer. Now my goal is to get good enough at clawhammer to play in an old time jam.
