I was born in Indianapolis in 1950. Brought to California in 1952. Went to Bishop Alemany High School and Occidental college, then went to work at Occidental Life. Retired from the same place after 37 years and half a dozen corporate name changes. Besides practicing my banjo, I am learning to play fiddle, give talks on Mark Twain and his family, collect fountain pens and work as a State Park Aide at an OHV park. I am blessed with a sweet-tempered spouse (a gem beyond compare) and two sweet little Chihuahua foundlings named Cricket and Bear. Unfortuately, our Jack Russell, Lucky (the one in the photo) came to the end of his time here at the age of 18. I keep his photo because although he was cranky, he was the bravest, most loyal person I have ever met.
