I was lucky to take a few lessons with James McKinney when I lived in Dallas back in 1989 or so. I have played on and off - mostly off due to school & work. I recently (Jan 2008) came across the cassette tapes James made for me, and have started to practice more regularly. Even though it wasn't many lessons, James was the BEST music teacher I ever had. I wish I could have had more but moved away from Dallas because of work.
