I am from the rock guitar world so.....Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Van Halen. Bluegrass and other musicians would be of course Earl, Grandpa Jones, Stringbean, Tony Rice, J.D. Crowe, Ron Block, John Hartford, Roy Clark, Ross Nickerson, Dr. Ralph Stanley........heck, I like em all.

Just an average guy from Northern Indiana. I have played rock guitar for the last 20 years and have had a good time doing it but have recently grown tired of it. My dad always listened to bluegrass music so I was always aware of it. I guess it was just a matter of time until I picked it up. Now I wish I would have started a long time ago. I have a cousin that is schooled in drums and is also a pretty decent acoustic picker so we have been trying to jam and work something up for future endeavors in a few years when I can get the hang of this awesome instrument. The banjo am the instrument for me ;) As of this bio update I have been playing for 7 weeks.
