Dad listened to old-time country, bluegrass, and folk. I played guitar from around age 10 to high school, then handed my axes over to my younger brother Dan. He now makes some actual money as a part-time musician, and encouraged me to start playing again by loaning me a banjo he had laying around. Dad and Dan bought me the Washburn off EBay as a Christmas present and I started chipping away at Mr. Scrugg's book.
