Yep, I've not kept up with this for awhile. I'm still going for a weekly half hour lesson. I feel I've finally reached a major turning point. I'm working with moveable chords, YEE HAA!!!! I refused to jump ahead as some suggested feeling in time I'd be shown and that time has come. I'm glad that I waited and find it coming relatively easily. It is still slow but I am seeing such possibilities. I feel I"ve finally moveed up from "Just Startin" to a "Beginner". So much is now opening up, it's like going from a bleek winter to all the possibilities of spring. So now after 17 months I feel there is hope for me!!! YEE HAA!!!

I've worked for The University of Texas at Austin since 1975, about 1 year and 7 months away from "planned" retirement. Owned a Vega Pete Seeger in the late 60's. Never learned to play it properly. Now I want to learn correctly. When I retire, I'm really looking forward to attending Acoustic Music camps.
