So I tried for a month? two months? back in 2008, then shelved the banjo. Here I am, March 25, 2014 and starting to think about starting again. I have no musical ability and less musical talent. I don't intend to let that stop me! I started again May 2014, and am finding my way . . . very very slowly . . . I started out playing bluegrass, but 1.5 years into it I slipped to the dark side and found the sound I wanted in clawhammer. At the same time I re-started my "banjo career", my husband and I sold our house and most everything we owned, bought an old pickup, threw a slide-in camper on it and now cruise the American West.
