Born and raised in Prescott Arizona my family always listened to bluegrass and went to the annual festival on the town square. Tried to play piano and trombone but soon gave up and resorted to lusting after a five string banjo while playing stand up bass. Finally starting playing banjo and have been picking ever since! Its pretty cliche to say it changed my life but being in high school and having some teachers not even KNOW what a banjo was definantly put me in a percentage of about .01% of other students, sad isn't it? They just didn't know what they were missing out on! I play with my older sister and our parents which is a blast, it's all good and I love playing!
