I have been involved as a professional educator/adminstrator at the university level for 27 years now. I have taught myself the banjo and have enjoyed it off and on for over 30 years. Recently, I have been focusing on improving my playing level. I have added clawhammer playing to my practice and find that I really enjoy the style more than any other. Finding a fiddler local with whom to practice some OT tunes interest me. I also enjoy tabbing out tunes for clawhammer style playing. I do some cartooning on the side, which you can find at http://phritzysworld.wordpress.com/. I created Phritzy for fun and found that a number of people enjoy him as much as I do.
