Thanks to both of you for answering my comment. My husband is just starting to teach himself the Tenor as I had an old Maybel here that I bought years ago whhilst in NZ. I didnt look at it properly and thought it was an old standard. I am just starting to have a go at the 2nd & 3rd books from Don Van Palta. I was taught the basic s years ago by an old jazz player but sooooo much I dont know. I play at Church fine but would like to learn the form V, diminished & augmented chords and start learning some solo numbers and proper stumming techniques. Been going to do this for years...... now I feel I can manage the time.
