i think the general idea is to forget that you don't know what you're doing

and just keep on playing. keep on playing :)

you actually play better if you forget about what you do or don't know.

do that make sense?...i think i've lost track a bit...

forgive me father for i have sinned... i have played a police song [and thats' reggae, btw]

on the banjo.

not that this is gonna mean much to any of ya, me daddy has just finished recording his new album.

it's a blinder :)

i say it probably won't mean much to ya cuz it's punk rock music.

but it's exceptionally well written punk music, and i think that it doesn't really matter about the genre, as long as your heart is in it, and that you get your message across with it, yeah...

and there is some impressive pathos/bathos in there too

their band is subhumans, by the way :)

check this out; -for some experimental roots/jam music

[listen to the track "strong views on war"] -that's me mate Jasper singing :)

again, it hasn't got much to do with the banjo but hey, it got to me

[that's what matters, issnit?!]

chat about anything music related/share your views with me... i'm at

born in a musically- and culturally-devoid little town in west wiltshire called warminster, got me education at a socially challenged place called kingdown, learnt how to jam at the age of 14. tried to create a band called 'laughing prog' [with me on the sax] which literally fell apart. got invited to play several times with the awesome fantastic genius SKA band CITIZEN FISH. -enjoyed it immensely :D allthogh me and my sax had bin in an extremely close relationship for about 4 years I started to get bored with the sound...wanted to exprore other musical genres... couldn't help meself from picking up this pretty little instrument called the banjo. took it home with me and played until me fingers were red raw. yeah... now i'm addicted to the sound :) and me sax was heartbroken. :)
