Born into a musical family in the mid-40s. Dad played fiddle and Mom sang Patsy Montana songs on the radio. Several other relatives made music. Member of the former Indian Creek Delta Boys otsb. Active in field collecting fiddle tunes in central-southern IL in the 70s-80s.Collection now showcased in book and CD formats as "Dear Old Illinois" (now out of print). Founding member of Airtight otsb that was based out of Charleston, IL.
