Playing Since: 2007
Experience Level: Novice
Interests:
[Jamming] [Socializing]
Occupation: sales manager
Gender: Male
Age: 80
My Instruments:
I've just aquired an Alverez "Silver Princess" with a tubaphone (I think it's brass) tone ring.
It's got a great sound and looks great too! This along with my 19 Fret "travel Banjo" my Kent resonator style and the old Harmony I think I'm about "banjo'd out" Now all I have to do is learn to play well enough to justify all the time I spend with them!
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Mary Z Cox is one of my favorites. I have listend to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for many years.
Maybell Carter is right up there. I've been playing a great group called the Be Good Tanyas they hail from Vancouver BC and do some great Clawhammer tunes.
