Sailed to Hawaii via South Pacific 35 years ago... fell in love with the islands and an island girl and have been raisin' kids and raisin' cane ever since! Stopped playing for 20+ years... got back into it 5 years ago and started a group with singer/song writer Randall Rospond called The Haiku Hillbillies- "Funky, Groovin, Poetic, Folk" - play locally and do some off island gigs- opened for the Rowan Bros a couple of times. Played with Peter Rowan 30+ years ago! (just a bit of sailing and pickin & grinnin) Currently do both semi-acustic with just 3 of us and fully plugged in gigs with a full band of 6. Play just for fun... "there may be better pickers but no one plays cheaper!"
