I worked for many years in the Social Service field. I drove truck, was a commisioned private policeman in Cleveland, did my stint in the Ohio Military Reserve as an NBC/NCO/MP and build and shoot muzzleloading rifles and my whole family shot competition. I have played, taught and loved clawhammer banjo for nearly 40 years now. I had a Band..Cookin' Country. I used the clawhammer style in many clubs along with my own three finger style. I did this for about 5 years professionally. I am now on disablity and starting to work on another group. I have written a Clawhammer Tab. book which is unpublished as yet. I married into the Stamper family of Kentucky and got my love of oldtime music from them, Art, Charles, Herbert and Hiram Stamper. My family is from Weston, WVA on my fathers side.
