Walter Hensley

Sunday, November 25, 2012

With great heart felt sorrow we have lost one of the greatest Banjo Pickers to ever grace the 5 string, Walter Hensley not only one of Bluegrass Musics greatest Ambassadors but a great mentor to many and a humble friend that never knew a stranger left to go home yesterday. Another Honorable man and musician has gone but never to be silent in the gifts he has left us. 1 comment

Playing Since: 2006
Experience Level: Just Startin'

Interests:
[Socializing]

Gender: Male
Age: 60

My Instruments:
I have an Epiphone MB-250, I lost my Father Arnold Sr. September 19th he plays mostly an older Goldstar with a raised head he also played a 1962 Vega and a Gibson
RB-4 but the both started collecting dust after he bought the Goldstar. I sure wish I could
play like my Dad.

Walter Hensley, Earl Taylor, Lamar Greer, And I guess I will give my Aunt an honorable
mention...Hazel Dickens
