Directed the Traditional Music Project at Pine Breeze Center 1975-81 which released 8 lps of field recordings of SE TN traditional musicians (recently reissued on a 2 CD set by Jubilee Community Arts); owner of indy label ASP Records. Started recording for Spar Records when I was 17 (Nashville), performed at 1978 and 1979 National Folk Festival (Eldia Barbee and the Bice Family), 1982 World's Fair with Bob Douglas, Member of The Recording Academy for 30 years, ASCAP, have appeared on at least 10 LPs and CD since 1976
