It Just Happens    by William Morrison

rec:  Now I'm gettin'  kinda old and gray,  I never thought much about gettin' this way

But if you live long enough, day by day,--  it just happens.

But I've learned the secret of a long happy life

and I believe it's to have a lovin' wife, one who helps make your dreams come true

and brings you smiles when your feelin' blue, cause sometimes, that happens

Sung:  Someone who gives you strength through your fears

Someone who will kiss away your tears

Rec; Through all of lifes crazy ups and downs,

the one who keeps you on the solid ground

and then when you're both wrinkled and gray

she'll laugh with you -- and say,

It just happens

Yeah , Life just happens..

I wrote that a little while back, actually dreamed it and then wrote it ,to my wife of fifty years this year.

BUT I finally had to quit my Banjo last week as that fiend Arthur-itis has put the pain in my arms and shoulders

to where it is no longer enjoyable.  I still strum the old guitar and sing mostly Gospel but only a little at a time.

I have enjoyed Banjo Hangout for a while now and y'all have taught me a lot,  I pray you will keep it up as you

are inspiring lots of pickers.

God Bless y'all now and forever

Still "Pickin' and Grinnin"

Starting to play (Learn) again after a year hiatus. fingers are 75 years old but still nimble. Wife of 47 years hasn't thrown me or my banjo out yet but gets a little testy sometimes when she can't hear the "Soaps" for the "Music"!
