I'm going to be traveling soon and plan on taking my banjo with me.  I will fly on Air Tran and United.  Has anyone had experience taking their banjo with them as a carry on and putting it in the overhead bin?  Info from Air Tran said no problem as long as it fit into overhead bin but did not provide dimensions for overhead bin.  Hard case is 42 x 16 in.  Thanks. 1 comment
