I started playing the banjo when I was 11 years old and haven't looked back since. I started doing instrument repairs in my 20's which led to making necks . Later this turned into making the whole instrument. I now have an entire shop dedicated solely to making and fixing banjos and producing parts. We have made professional quality instruments for musicians of all levels across the US and Canada. My wife and I manage our company out of our home in Ann Arbor and play bluegrass in our family band. When not making banjos I work for EMU managing the Aviation program.
