Got interested in 2008 while at Clifftop. Traded a cello bow for a fiddle and the fiddle for the banjo. Learned how to actually flail the thing at the Pigtown Fling in Romney, WV in July of 2009. Been learning tunes and techniques every since. I have been completely overwhelmed with clawhammer and play mostly out of aDADE. Been fooling around with G tuning and capoing up to A but just don't like it near as much a aDADE. Drop Thumbs, Not Bombs.
