Currently working with Vernon McIntyre's APPALACHIAN GRASS once a month at the Appalchian Opry -Mitch has been teaching banjo since the 70's.He has played various styles with many different bands.A strong Scruggs-style picker that has been influenced by playing electric guitar for a living night after night.He has also played Mandolin,dobro,and bass in bands. I have been asked to expand my bio: Toured with Jimmy Martin in early 80's Member of Vernon McIntyre's Appalachian Grass 1981 Bought aTelecaster 1983 since then I have toured with Jean Shepard,Leroy Van Dyke,Del Reeves,Jack Green,Sheb Wooley,Tommy Cash and a bunch of others. In Michigan Bluegrass I have worked with,Blue Velvet,R&L Express,Mike Adams,Northwind Grass,North Country Grass. Currently working With Roy Cobb and the Coachmen" and "Blue Velvet" My 13 year old son Jesse does a nice job on guitar and is coming along on the ol' 5
