Hello friends & fellow banjo enthusiasts. From the estate of a dear friend, I have been asked by the family to sell one of his instruments at no profit to me. A near mint RB-800 approximately from 72-74 with an engraved no hole tonering. I'm not exactly sure of the year, but I have the serial & will not disclose it except to seriously interested buyers. I also have detailed pictures that will again, only be sent to seriously interested ppl. Asking price is $3500. I will say that this is not a typical 800 I'm used to seeing & playing. The plating is in excellent condition & only worn in a couple places. It is clean & I have found no flaking in the plating whatsoever. It has a really nice tone & surprisingly what you would expect from a (good) no hole tonering banjo. I am not a fan of the 800 series & have played very few that will cut it. With over 25 yrs of playing experience including professional recording & band experience, I can say without hesitation that I would play this banjo onstage anywhere, anytime. If interested in making a (serious) offer please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org & I will give you all pics & info I have on the banjo.
Thank You for your time & God Bless.
P.S. If your one of those that only makes negative comments or want to complain about the price, then please don't let any grass grow under your feet on your way out.Add Comment
