I have played semi professionally a number of years and taught for several years previously to that. I play banjo for "Yeller Dawg" bluegrass band since 1999. My style is Scruggsy with traces of Dillard, Crowe and Munde. I enjoy traditional and contemporary bluegrass. I am into all things banjo including building/ restoring and inlaying and am also a founding member of L.O.S.T (luthiers of S.E. Texas). I also enjoy trivia about bluegrass in general and especially banjo players. My avatar is my new license plates for my old chevy truck. My other hobby is amateur radio and have had the call K5BGZ since 1955.
