Grew up in Texas. Did 6.5 years in the US Navy, Reactor Operator ET1(SS). Went to Colorado School of Mines (1992-1996). Graduated with high honors, BSc. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Minor in Public Affairs. Three years as cast house metallurgist at Kaiser Aluminum - Trentwood Works. Stolen by Wagstaff Inc. as a Research Metallurgist, developing casting tooling. Currently Project Manager and Sr. Staff Metallurgist for Wagstaff. Basic Metallurgy in Aluminum and its Alloys, Electron Microscopy (SEM/TEM), Casting tooling design, Technology Project Management, International troubleshooting of Aluminum Processing, Author and Lecturer of topics relating to direct-chill casting of aluminum.
