For those of you who were wonderin,I got some banjo pickin in last night-and I remembered the tunes better than I expected tho I was still peekin at the tab.
Joined the CBA and got my membership card in the mail-and am going to start running ads for my store there. hoping to make some friends thru it as I seem to be somewhat alone in my love of Old Time & bluegrass music out here.
Getting interested in flatpicking again tho I haven't done it since I was in high school so I'm using a Wayne Erbsen book to help me remember what I forgot *laughs* and the resonator guitar is absolutely wonderful. Such sweet action on it! I'm waiting to get a glass slide in the mail and I'll start learning that.
And I'm thinking of getting another guitar out of storage. We'll see how that pans out. My old steel string Aria. Need to start emptying that thing as Dad has had it for 10 yrs and I don't want to think about how much rent has went into it.
