I just bought Crowe # 49 of the first 80. It is one with a double label,and neck that is not one of the "thick" ones. Great playing, sounding banjo.

I bought it from Pete Schwimmer.Paid $1300 for it in 1998.. wish I had kept it.I really like the way they did the Gold plating on this model I saw one early this year in a small music shop for $1600, by the time I called ,it was sold. Anyone looking to buy a future collectable Asian import Signature series Banjo...get a RK Osborne Scout..I think in 10-15 years.. they will appreciate like the GS Crowe models.
