I`ve just done a fairbanks N07 up and put light guage strings on it. It sounds nice but i think it would sound even better with medium strings (10, 13, 16, 24, 10). The neck has no truss rod, and as it was designed for lower tension gut strings, would a set of mediums be too much for the neck?
