Hi all,

I am considering having maybe frets 1 through 3 replaced soon, what would be your recommendation ? Andy Banjo or Eagle music.

	Banjules says: 10/9/2014 1:00:51 AM I've not dealt with Eagle other than to buy spares etc. I did buy my Gold Tone from Andy back in June and he has always been extremely helpful with advice. I like them a lot and have always valued their straight talking attitude. I guess give them both a call and get a quote then decide on cost and distance as nobody here has posted anything negative on either.
	Buzzbomb says: 10/9/2014 10:40:42 AM Like Martin (Goldman), I've bought from both Eagle & Andy and have had good experiences - very please with the set up etc. If it's your Archtop that you want work done on however, I'd go with Andy Banjo... For the simple reason that when I enquired about an 5-string Archtop from Eagle I was told something along the lines that they didn't exist & all 5-strings were flat-heads!
	alfiedog says: 10/10/2014 1:53:37 AM Brighton Malc (Malcolm McCloud) He make's some fantastic Banjo's, and he is a great guy. Go to his home page, and check his work out, or Jame's Bowen at Griffin Banjo's. Steer well clear of Eagle.
	simesa says: 10/14/2014 2:33:07 AM I was also going to suggest Brighton Malc - I've seen his work and it's absolutely superb. Not sure if he's doing repairs and refurbs at the moment though or just concentrating on the building of banjos - give him a ring. He's a really helpful chap.
