Hello. This is my first post.
I was on business this last week in New York and made time to drop into Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island.
I had inteded to come back to Scotland with a Stelling banjo, however after trying various types for some time I ended up buying the Steve Huber Roanoke model.
Wow, what a beautiful tone it has!
I managed to get it back via hand luggage and am now delighted that I can begin to work hard on improving my playing.
Thanks for this site, as I've managed to get lots of good research info before heading out.
Hugh
