hi, cool site. My wife bought me a banjo for my birthday 2 months ago because I've always wanted one and I'm forever watching the late great Dave Hum videos on you tube and to be honest I wish I'd got one years ago. I'm currently working my way through Mark Wardle's "beginning bluegrass banjo" online tutorial videos and really enjoying it (the wife isn't though, I've been banished upstairs to practice ,ha ha!).

I'm fairly newbie myself, if you can see if you can find similar minded people in your area who you can jam/learn with nothing like playing with others to improve your confidence. Also has the bonus of getting you and your Jo out of the house and away from the Missus :-)
