Hi guys,

I have decided to move away from hangout and I just wanted to post quickly to say thank you for your friendship on here, I will miss things like the Hilton days we had and the joy we had sharing the love of the banjo. Take care and good luck to you all. I am on Facebook as are the old grey dogs, I am also a member of Jim Reeds brilliant banjo page over there and another page called melodic players.......joe

	Banjowen says: 2/9/2014 1:44:06 AM Good luck Joe in whatever you do,..as for myself I feel I owe the Hangout a great deal as it's helped me to make friends with other players who otherwise I'd never have known or met, also I've learned a great deal like tips,tunes,tabs etc,... Joe, will this be the last time you leave as you've left once before.I'll never understand people leaving the hangout with the message "I'm Leaving" then coming back a few months later,surely it makes more sense to just take a break without making any statements,...sorry Joe but that's my opinion of ANYONE who desides to leave.

In my case, old friendships renewed (like ours) and many new ones made. There is a good camaraderie here on UK 5 with virtually none of the squabbling that you can easily find on the main forums. There’s good and bad on the hangout but that’s just like real life. I ignore the negative stuff and enjoy the intelligent input, advice, music, tabs, chit chat and banjo news that is posted. There are a few posters who are very tetchy and could start an argument in an empty house. I know who they are and don’t read their stuff. Dead easy mate! I don’t do Facebook or any other ‘Social Media’ so that’s not an option for me. Like Owen suggested, maybe just take a break from it for a while. I hope you reconsider; you’ve so much to offer here. At least keep UK5 updated on The Dogs activities. Best wishes Joe, speak soon I hope. PS, Hilton Banjo Day, now there’s a good idea…………………
