One of my students suggested that a workshop designed to show pickers just leaving the beginners stage in their playing how to get into more intermediate work, I.e. melodic s, solo work, improvisation etc may be a great idea. It set me thinking that in the long winter months ahead that I would be interested in trying to help out with this by offering a small group of say six people the chance to sit around in my front room for the day and run through some of the ways to do this.

totally free and with tea and biscuits, what do you guys think? Any takers.
