Just looking to pick the mighty Banjo Hangout groupmind here. Does anyone have any recordings of index-lead 2-finger players that they recommend? I've got a bit of stuff by Mckinley Asher, and W. Guy Bruce (from the excellent "Folk Visions and Voices" 2-CD set), but I'm not sure where else to look. It seems like that was the native picking style of N. Georgia, but I don't have any other recordings of Georgia pickers, either. I guess I'll try to get in touch with Art Rosenbaum, if nothing else... Thanks in advance for the advice!

	chip arnold says: 10/7/2016 7:20:47 AM Art is the guy for finger styles. My music page is all index lead. I first learned from N. Ga. old guys in the early seventies. Here's a link to Ed Teague. 	chip arnold says: 10/7/2016 7:41:37 AM And here's a link to Lawrence Eller from Upper Hightower in Towns County, Ga. Lawrence was primarily a T lead picker, but he caught a lot of notes with his index as well. He had a great, straight ahead picking and singing style. On at least oneclip, he's playing with his brother Vaughn and Ross Brown, the left handed fiddler from Hiawassee. 	tucsonsean says: 10/7/2016 10:06:21 AM I had the great pleasure of hanging out a bit with Wil Keys at Fidder's Grove one year. There's a guy who was in no way regimented about I or T, often crossing them up in getting at notes.
