Anyone know who did the beautiful matte gold plating on these models? Absolutely gorgeous. Are these models still available?

	drewbarries says: 9/17/2016 11:20:38 AM I think the late Bill Sullivan may have done those. I had a conversation with Geoff years ago about it and remember either he or someone referred me to FQMS and I did speak to Bill but the cost would have been enormous as the bead blasting process required that the parts be like new and so I think the parts would have had to have first been stripped and then done like they were new. I could be wrong about this but it's been years since I had that conversation and I ruled it out based on cost. Geoff did replated my armrest but it came back shiny and nothing like the original satin look. Also I recall Geoff told me that He had replated one of his that was originally that satin look and he himself had to live with the change to a shiny gold.

	Geoff Stelling says: 11/1/2016 8:44:56 AM Our current Crusader Deluxe has this same bead-blasted surface before it is engraved and gold plated. My engraver can do the bead-blasting and so can the plater. It may cost an extra $75 on a polished surface.
