It was on this date 40 years ago, July 25, 1974, that Geoff Stelling completed his first banjo, a Bellflower, thus marking the beginning of Stelling Banjo Works.
I have owned and played nothing but Stelling banjos since February 1982 and have been friends with Geoff ever since he moved here to Virginia in 1984. I cannot begin to describe what Geoff's banjos and his friendship have meant to me. They both are more than I ever expected or could hope for.
I am the proud owner of 2 wonderful Stelling banjos and can say without a doubt that as long as our Heavenly Father continues to bless me with the talent and skill to play the banjo, it will always be with a Stelling.
Thank you Geoff for 40 years of the ultimate banjo. Best wishes for many more!
