truss rod problem

I am having a problem adjusting the truss rod on my virginian. Any ideas?

	Cornflake says: 3/28/2014 8:12:51 PM Please give more description of your problem. Is it that you can't turn the nut? You don't know how far to turn it? You don't know which way the neck will bow with the turn? Why do you need to adjust the rod?
	BobbyE says: 3/29/2014 3:39:21 AM Be very sure you need to adjust it before you do. If you have a buzzing string eliminate all other possibilities before you adjust the rod. Also Geoff Stelling is a HO member and is very approachable with issues about his banjos.
	From Greylock to Bean Blossom says: 3/29/2014 5:38:01 AM Following up on what BobbyE says, it has been my experience that you want to use your truss rods as little as possible. Tightening them can put pressure on the rim. If you have a good fit with the way your neck fits your pot then using the truss rods is unnecessary and i am sure your stelling has a good fit. I also echo BobbyE's thoughts about Geoff.

It is the envy of my banjo buddies and I have yet to hear any banjo live that sounds as good. The tone and playability are the best as well as the craftsmanship make me just want to look at it and admire it as a work of art. I have a Gibson that I like but it can not compare with my Stelling.
