After a long layoff I'm trying to get back into playing so I'm back on the Hangout these days. I sent my 81 lefty Bellflower to Geoff for a refret last week and he's going to have it ready for me to pick up on my drive back home after attending the Daytona 500. I'd been trying to switch to playing left-handed due to a right-hand condition and was doing pretty well until I dislocated my picking thumb in a tablesaw kickback. Anyway, I'm excited now about getting back into playing, seeing the 500 again, and especially about picking up my newly maintained banjo from the man himself.
